Job Summary
The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a dynamic forward-thinking and experienced analyst specializing in analyzing data and creating reports based on the findings.
We are looking for a results-driven Business Analyst with strong data analysis capabilities to join our Pricing Optimization team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience working with data reporting and analytics tools. This role requires proficiency in Python Power BI SQL and Excel with a solid grasp of data handling and visualization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
What were looking for
- Bachelors degree in computer science Statistics Mathematics or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas NumPy) SQL and Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
How you will thrive and create an impact
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation.
- Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
- Developing and maintaining databases data systems - reorganizing data in a readable format
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions pivot tables Power Query data cleaning and charting for reporting and analysis.
- Write SQL queries to extract transform and load data from various sources.
- Clean validate and organize raw data for analysis and reporting.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.
- Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
