Health & Safety Advisor

Suffolk

Join one of the UKs leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractors as a H&S Advisor on a major scheme. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a couple of years experience in civils based health and safety who wants to step up into a role within major infrastructure projects.

What youll be doing:

  • Supporting a major project in Suffolk
  • Advising project teams on site compliance risk assessments and method statements
  • Conducting site audits inspections and safety observations
  • Supporting the development of RAMS and site-specific safety plans
  • Encouraging a positive health & safety culture at all levels of site teams
  • Reporting on incidents near misses and supporting investigations

What were looking for:

  • 2 years of health & safety experience in a construction or civils setting
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Confident communicator who can engage with site teams and senior leaders
  • Willingness to travel regionally this is a field-based role
  • A proactive hands-on approach to safety management
