Join one of the UKs leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractors as a H&S Advisor on a major scheme. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a couple of years experience in civils based health and safety who wants to step up into a role within major infrastructure projects.
What youll be doing:
- Supporting a major project in Suffolk
- Advising project teams on site compliance risk assessments and method statements
- Conducting site audits inspections and safety observations
- Supporting the development of RAMS and site-specific safety plans
- Encouraging a positive health & safety culture at all levels of site teams
- Reporting on incidents near misses and supporting investigations
What were looking for:
- 2 years of health & safety experience in a construction or civils setting
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
- Confident communicator who can engage with site teams and senior leaders
- Willingness to travel regionally this is a field-based role
- A proactive hands-on approach to safety management
