Job Title: IT Test Analyst IT Applications (Warehouse Management System)
Location: Columbus OH 43230
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Hybrid (3 5 days a week onsite)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The IT Test Analyst role will be part of the QA Team working within a high-performing quality assurance team in an onshore/offshore model.
- The analyst will report to a QA Manager and collaborate with application teams. The role involves both test preparation and test execution ensuring quality software delivery within warehouse management systems (WMS) specifically Manhattan PKMS.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in functional and technical design reviews to understand business processes technologies and architectures.
- Create/modify test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements.
- Ensure appropriate test data is available in the test environment.
- Execute and update test cases including proof of testing.
- Document defects and retest fixes in a timely manner using test management tools.
- Communicate progress and status updates to the Test Lead/Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a project environment.
- Assist in driving issues to closure.
- Complete assignments on time according to priorities.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Retail experience preferred.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience in WMS testing (Manhattan PKMS).
- Strong understanding of inbound outbound and inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse exception handling.
- Experience testing order release shipping confirmation inventory feeds return processing interfaces between OMS and PKMS.
- Knowledge of PKMS batch jobs and screen flows.
- Experience validating integrations between PKMS and ERP systems.
- Understanding of EDI flows and TMS for end-to-end validations.
- Ability to validate tables using SQL queries.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall Iterative Agile).
- Experience with onshore/offshore models and working across multiple teams.
- Experience with HP ALM JIRA or similar test/defect management tools.
- Strong organizational interpersonal documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate coordinate and proactively participate in a team environment.
