Job Description

General Summary

The primary function of an Assistant Manager is to utilize a combination of analytical technical and soft skills to help the business improve its operating model and assist in meeting its objectives.
This is done through identifying understanding and addressing operational risks while partnering with business stakeholders to enhance systems functions and processes that directly benefit the business and helps ensure strategic goals are achieved. Something to ensure processes are functioning as expected

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement technical solutions to execute business strategy/processes - 20%

Develop and maintain reporting functionality and other analytical tools to ensure accuracy identify trends/issues/opportunities - 20%

Make recommendations to improve business processes - 10%

Perform ad hoc data extraction analyses and segmentation as required - 10%

Develop/Mentor Analysts. And Work with IT to help define user requirements test and implement new systems to support the business - 20%

Serve as a key project team member and support business process improvement projects from conceptualization through implementation by working closely with the project team business unit leaders and IT (as necessary) - 10%

Build plans and effectively manage and distribute human resource - 5%

Perform other duties as assigned - 5%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelors

Field of Study: Any Graduate

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong desire to design and develop systems and data processes
  • Understanding of databases SQL and data mining techniques
  • Analytically minded with an ability to identify relevant information and organize data in a manner that creates value and insight for the business
  • Capable of being responsible for monitoring developing and repairing business-critical systems
  • Competent in communicating and presenting to varying levels of seniority within the organizations
  • Able to form and grow productive business partnerships with staff from various teams across the organization
  • Appropriately communicate technical concepts with people of varying degrees of technical understanding Eager desire to learn data management and operational system concepts Proficiency with MS Office (Excel PowerPoint)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelors

FIELD OF STUDY: Business administration economics applied mathematics computer science or related quantitative fields.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years in an analytical financial information technology or operational system orientated position
