Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years experience in managing the design and construction of signalling works for large-scale railway projects
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
• Solid experience in system design site implementation testing and commissioning of Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) Signalling Systems or SACEM ATC / SSI / SMARTLOCK Interlocking based Signalling System or CASCO ATSS or Seltrac System
• Leadership to lead task forces of different disciplines/stakeholders to accomplish complicated roll-out or inspections
• Open-mindedness pro-activeness readiness to accept and promote innovative work initiatives and partnership are essential

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
• Candidates with less experiences will be considered for the Senior Construction Engineer-Signalling position

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction team to manage full-life delivery cycle of signalling contracts of new railway projects from system specification system design review to testing & commissioning and handover
• Ensure project works are delivered safely timely within budget and in compliance with all corporate and statutory requirements and specifications
• In charge of the construction management for deploying signalling system in both brownfield and greenfield railway environments in a seamless manner
• Coordinate with various internal and external parties such as civil system-wide E&M building services operations and government authorities to accomplish seamless technical and programme interfaces
• Oversee interface activities and liaise with contractors and stakeholders for resolution of conflict and mitigation of project risks
• Manage the enabling team including contracts administration and project programme to support project management
• Preparation of tender document and tender assessment for signalling contracts
