Description

Position Purpose and Objectives:

Responsible for managing all sales and operational functions within the branch. Lead and develop branch staff with the goal of providing EPIC service to members throughout every service offered.


Major Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Embraces the core values of Texans CU including excellence people integrity and collaboration.
  • Create and maintain a sales and service environment within the branch.
  • Maintain a highly motivated well-trained staff who consistently offer excellent service to all members. Maintain effective employee relations within the branch.
  • Monitor all key performance indicators within the branch to ensure profitable and sound business practice as well as the highest quality of service for the members.
  • Evaluate job performance of branch staff to ensure quality of work and service to the membership through regular coaching sessions including but not limited to observations1 on 1s and pipeline/lead management. Record coaching and progress in electronic journals in compliance with internal guidelines and processes.
  • Apply and evaluate security and internal operation procedures. Audit policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure that the branch is compliant with federal laws regulations Bank Secrecy Act SLAs and internal QC expectations.
  • Monitor branch activity including transaction volume loan volume errors of service teller and loan personal sales and new accounts to ensure balanced performance within the branch locations.
  • Manage the safety and security of the branch. Monitor security policies and procedures for the branch and ensure branch staff is properly trained in this area.
  • Ensure branch staff receives on-going training in security and robbery procedures products/services current procedures and all other necessary information.
  • Create monthly schedules that ensure efficient branch coverage. Utilize traffic pattern reports and sales volumes to determine true needs. Scheduling practices should also include proper monitoring of time off requests.
  • Ensure active involvement in all aspects of branch sales including but not limited to loan interviews and applications processing and closing loans opening new accounts providing excellent service to members and any other additional duties.
  • Oversee monthly document audits are completed in a timely manner to maintain minimal QC error and hold staff accountable. Once audit findings are identified investigation to identify solutions and inspections of solution implemented is required.
  • Assist staff members in solving complex problems or member escalations. Responsible for promoting and developing staff to use critical thinkings and problem resolution skills.
  • Regular community involvement- includes but not limited to attending working and involvement in various community business development events in your community such as local chamber meetings local community-based events in aim to build relations with various local businesses and organizations in your area.

Requirements

Specific knowledge skills and abilities required for this position:

Ability to oversee and promote a sales/service environment; working knowledge of a variety of financial products and services; excellent member service skills; exceptional interpersonal and oral communication skills; basic computer and typing skills; excellent time management and organizational skills; professional and polished in both attitude and appearance; Skilled in guiding motivating and assessing team members to recognize both areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement in performance and service.


Education:

High-school diploma or equivalent


Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience in a branch environment

Minimum 3-5 years Sales/Service experience in a Retail and/or Financial Institution environment
