Reports To: Grant Coordinator
Position Purpose: To assist grant coordinator in managing paperwork placing and monitoring requisitions for goods and services and other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Typing and word processing skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to operate office machines
- Bookkeeping and accounting skill preferred
- Ability to work extensively with computer/word processor excel access publisher
- Ability to handle pressure and stress
- Skill in working with the public in a positive manner
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and write the English language
- Ability to work with others
Physical/Emotional Requirements: (The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.) Speaking Hearing Visual Walking/Mobility Consistency of temperament Ability to work with a variety of people at the same time Stamina for working in stress producing environments. Position may include stooping kneeling and bending. Ability to sit/stand/move around at will.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Use a financial management platform to place and monitor requisitions for grant purchases.
- Communicate progress of requisitions with building personnel
- Maintain accurate records including simple budgets
- Filing of paperwork
- Maintain and order supplies as needed
- Answer telephones/take messages (pleasant tone of voice accuracy in messages and transfers relate name of caller)
- Other duties as requested by the Grant coordinator
Terms of Employment:
Part time 4 hrs wwage and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Support Service Personnel
