Job title: Center for Womens Leadership intern
Start date: Sept. 2 2025
Hours:
Ten hours/week throughout academic year.
Pay: $15/hour.
Number of positions: one.
Requirements:
3.25 overall GPA*; major within Sentry School of Business and Economics or UWSP MBA student.
o *A faculty reference may be substituted for GPA requirement.
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for programming events for Womens Leadership activities for Women and their allies.
Able to make a commitment through May 2026.

Flexibility punctuality and reliability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines within tight timeframes.
Initiative to identify possible additions and improvements to Center for Womens Leadership programming.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with professional-level attention to detail.
Position responsibilities:
Help organize promote and execute guest speaker events and receptions.
Help organize promote and execute volunteer events. This includes coordinating with NM/Sentry and communicating with non-profit organizations in need.
Promote Center for Womens Leadership through social media.
Correspond with speakers and others. Send follow-up thank you notes.
Help coordinate lunch with female leader opportunities.
Attend weekly office hours to be available for questions and consultations.
Create monthly flyer for WLC and community happenings.
Research and post resources for Women on website/social media.
Help organize and engage in book club meetings.
Represent Center for Womens Leadership at select sponsored conferences.
Compensation: $15 / hour.
