Job Description
Job Title: Lead Engineer
Function: IEC- Seating (Test Validation)
Report to: Engineering Manager
Pay Band: 3
Location: Pune India
Position Focus: Test Validation
Job Description:
1. In depth knowledge & proficiency in Regulatory & non-regulatory test & its requirement.
2. Knowledge on product DVP/R & its execution.
3. Quotation
4. Test Feasibility
5. Testing timeline
6. Internal customer interface
7. Co-ordination with External testing agency.
8. Capable to guide & lead test engineers / Sr. test engineers.
9. Interpretation of specifications
10. Customer requirements
11. Proficiency in documentation
12. Test procedures work instructions etc.
13. Report generation
14. Validation Quality System
15. Equipment management
16. Capable to develop new test setup/rigs/process.
17. Maintenance of calibration and Equipment maintenance plan for validation center.
18. Verifying the equipment test utilities and procedures to be used are according to TS 16949 / ISO 14001/ ISO/IEC17025 and the calibration procedures (locally and globally) for all internal and external tests.
Qualifications/Requirement
1. BE/ / Degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering.
2. 6-9 year in Automotive Industry experience preferably in Seating System.
3. Knowledge of seating systems & vehicle interior must require.
