Principal Engineer Chip DFT Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer DFT Lead to drive Design-for-Test (DFT) strategy and implementation for multi-chiplet Power efficient MCU chipsx. This role requires deep technical expertise in DFT methodologies leadership in cross-functional collaboration and ownership of test architecture to ensure high-quality manufacturable designs.

• Define and develop DFT methodologies for multi-chiplet SoCs
• Define and implement DFT architecture for multi-chiplet SoCs including scan BIST and boundary scan
• Drive test coverage goals and optimize for cost performance and quality
• Develop and integrate DFT logic into RTL and physical design flows
• Ensure seamless interaction with synthesis timing closure and verification teams
• Validate DFT features through simulation and ATPG pattern generation
• Collaborate with product engineering for silicon bring-up and yield improvement
• Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in DFT methodology
• Partner with architecture design and manufacturing teams to align test strategies

Qualifications :

• BTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 15 years of DFT experience
• Proven track record in implementing scan MBIST LBIST and JTAG.
• Expertise in EDA tools for DFT (Synopsys Cadence Mentor).
• Strong understanding of ATPG fault coverage analysis and test compression techniques.
• Prior experience with chiplet based designs is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) problem solving teamwork attention to detail commitment to task and quality focus
• Strong understanding of synthesis STA and power optimization techniques
• Experience with low-power designs and multi-clock domain architectures
• Can do attitude openness to new environment people and culture
• Ability to propose innovative and leading edge solutions
• Strong drive & ability to coordinate work across highly experienced global teams
