About the Role

As the Creative Lead (Video & Social Media) at IIDE you will drive the end-to-end production of digital content with the goal of increasing organic engagement and strengthening brand presence. Reporting to the Brand Manager you will lead a team of editors social media associates and interns while collaborating with cross-functional departments. You will oversee video strategy content planning post-production quality and the overall creative direction of social media channels.

What Youll Do

Video Strategy & Production

  • Develop content concepts storyboards and creative directions aligned with campaign goals.

  • Manage and direct video shoots ensuring smooth on-ground execution and adherence to technical requirements.

  • Oversee production planning scripting and creative alignment.

Post-Production Oversight

  • Review video edits and provide guidance on improvements.

  • Oversee motion graphics colour correction sound design and brand consistency.

  • Ensure efficient workflows across Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects and related tools.

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Build content pillars themes and messaging to drive continuous audience growth.

  • Strategise for increased reach engagement and platform performance.

Content Calendar Management

  • Plan schedule and manage social media posts across all channels.

  • Coordinate campaign rollouts content sequencing and daily publishing.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Paid Ads Events Design and Academic teams to ensure creative alignment.

  • Deliver content that supports brand marketing and campaign objectives.

People & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor editors social media associates and interns.

  • Conduct regular check-ins track progress and resolve executional roadblocks.

Tools Systems & Asset Management

  • Maintain an organised library of video files project assets and content archives.

  • Oversee usage of editing software social schedulers Google Workspace and AI-powered tools.

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Recruit evaluate and onboard creative team members including editors and social media associates.


Requirements

Must-Have

  • Bachelors degree in Film Media Marketing Communication or equivalent professional experience.

  • 13 years of experience in video production digital content creation or social media marketing.

  • Strong hands-on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • Solid understanding of social media platforms trends and audience-building strategies.

  • Excellent communication storytelling organisation and creative problem-solving skills.

Should Have

  • Experience managing small creative or production teams.

  • Ability to lead multiple projects meet deadlines and maintain quality under pressure.

  • Comfort with AI-based creative tools and willingness to adapt to new trends.

Nice to Have

  • A portfolio showcasing video social media content or campaign work.

  • Exposure to social scheduling tools and analytics platforms.

Educational Background

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Film Media Communication Marketing or related fields preferred.



Required Skills:

Qualifications: While formal education and qualifications are important we care mainly about your attitude your work ethic your desire to learn and your ability to fit into our existing team culture! Fair knowledge of Digital Marketing tools and proficiency in Google Sheets and G-studio. Strong analytical written communication and research skills and the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision making. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. You must be incredibly organized and process-driven with a strong eye for detail. Someone who defaults to believing all problems are solvable and is resourceful enough to find a solution using their initiative.
