Job Summary:
Location: Methodist Fremont HealthResponsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the daily operations of the Foundation including finances budgeting reporting office operation management of teams databases public relations and marketing etc.
Build and maintain relationships with donors at all levels and provide excellent customer service.
Establish and execute development plan to meet the mission and needs of the organization.
Manage financial assets of the organization to meet the established goals and priorities. Ensure appropriate resource management through effective budgeting and decision making.
Provide leadership inside and outside the organization to effectively meet program goals.
Plan and execute events as necessary as a part of the operation and fund development of the organization.
Manage volunteers including Board volunteers to meet the needs of the Board and the goals of the organization.
Execute public relations plans to effectively share stories recognize donors and promote programs to meet the goals of the Foundation.
Additional Leadership Responsibilities
Oversees volunteer services at the hospital and the gift shop.
Directs and supervises the activities of the volunteer coordinator and management of the hospital gift shop.
Participates in presentations and speaking engagements for programs clubs churches and organizations throughout the community.
Directs our community health and community engagement initiatives.
Works with leaders on public health issues and how we can address with the community.
Builds strong relationships within the community and promotes the health system.
Schedule:
40 hours per week.
Job Description:
Education
Minimum: Bachelors degree (e.g. Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Science Nursing Bachelor in Social Work)
Preferred: Masters degree (e.g. Master of Arts Master of Science Master of Science Nursing Master of Social Work Master Business Administration)
Experience
Three years experience related to donor development fund raising and program management or equivalent experience.
Five to ten years of experience in a nonprofit organization.
License/Certification
Drivers license required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Management position requiring high level of leadership and minimal direction for superiors.
Significant financial management planning prioritizing and running of the daily operations of the Foundation.
Project and program management required.
Interacts with internal and external audiences including physicians administrators vendors as well as community members.
Exercises a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills using the ability to clearly present ideas with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization and within the public eye.
Flexible scheduling for some evening and weekends at community events as requested/needed.
To meet with donors/prospects and attend community events and activities must be able to drive have a valid drivers license and frequent use of own transportation.
