This is your opportunity to join us as Media Director for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business.

In this role you wont just plan media youll craft imaginative journeys that bring families closer to the LEGO experience worldwide. Here strategic thinking meets creative play and your vision will shape how millions connect with our brand.

As our Media Director you will maximise portfolio performance and deliver breakthrough paid media impact through strategic omnichannel planning. Working in close partnership with Retail Marketing and Experience teams Commercial teams from and LEGO Brand Retail Stores youll lead above-the-line campaigns with close connection to mid and lower funnel performance marketing delivery and elevate the value of our retail proposition across all paid channels.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead omnichannel media strategy: Deliver impactful campaigns across digital and traditional channels with a focus on ROAS and brand growth.

  • Shape the media roadmap: Own the strategy innovation pipeline and excellence agenda leading strategic partnerships and maximising long-term media productivity.

  • Optimise paid media performance: Drive budget effectiveness in partnership with Media Agency and Marketing Planning & Performance team balancing full-funnel marketing with business KPIs.

  • Drive excellence and consistency in campaign briefing: Ensure clarity consistency and impact across paid media plans while optimising in-flight performance and contributing to growth initiatives contributing to Gap-to-Target (GTT) initiatives.

  • Inform content strategy: Provide insights that connect creative content to media objectives and future optimisation.

  • Spot Media Channel trends and future opportunities: Stay ahead of retail consumer and technology shifts to bring innovation into media planning.

  • Champion performance marketing for Retail Stores: Build robust strategies to strengthen traffic conversion contributing to the strategy and plan for performance marketing.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with activation teams across global and local markets to deliver integrated full-funnel campaigns.

Do you have what it takes

  • Proven track record in omni-channel media planning with expertise in managing and optimising full-funnel budgets within a global D2C business.

  • Deep digital media expertise including hands-on experience across Paid Search Programmatic Paid Social as well as ATL and BTL channels.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and agency management skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

  • Data-driven performance mindset skilled in media analytics campaign optimisation and ROI delivery.

  • Retail and eCommerce fluency with practical experience leveraging retail media to drive growth and conversion.

  • Content optimisation leader using media insights to shape creative strategies and enhance effectiveness.

  • Future-focused innovator with a strong grasp of emerging media technologies consumer trends and innovation opportunities.
