This role is pivotal in establishing commercial accounts and building strong relationships within the industry. As an Account Executive youll manage the entire sales cycle for your assigned market and accounts partnering with regional and branch leadership to strategically increase market share. Your main focus will be on growing market share from the assigned vertical while also maintaining the current customer base.
Responsibilities
- Proactively seek out prospects and develop new accounts through phone calls in-person meetings and attendance at local and regional events.
- Retain and grow existing account revenue through total account penetration and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Handle the operational aspect of secured business including proposals contracts vendor lists and customer correspondence.
- Develop and implement marketing plans and programs to support the organizations revenue objectives.
- Understand overall market dynamics identify emerging business opportunities and risks with assigned accounts and provide feedback to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven professional sales experience in a product or service-oriented industry.
- Polished presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.
- Self-motivated and directed with the ability to create and follow strategic business and sales plans.
- Availability to participate in job-required events and functions beyond standard business hours.
- Willingness to learn about the market services and trends.
