Job Summary
About the Company
The company operates a fleet of 20 trucks mainly across Southern Europe Czech Republic Slovakia Hungary Austria Croatia Italy and Romania. Occasionally routes also extend to Greece. Their focus is on reliability on-time delivery and building long-term partnerships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning drivers routes in line with legal driving hours and regulations
- Monitoring transport orders: loading/unloading pallet exchange transport documents
- Staying in touch with drivers: assigning routes providing ongoing support solving problems
- Working with transport exchanges (TRANS TIMOCOM knowledge of one is enough TIMOCOM is a plus)
- Maintaining long-term client relationships and acquiring new ones
- Analyzing client potential from the exchange and following up with offers
- Communicating confidently in English (emails & client calls)
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Freight Forwarder/Planner (even 6 months is enough the company provides training in their specific processes)
- Ability to calculate realistic travel times for loading/unloading
- Knowledge of European geography
- Familiarity with TIMOCOM is an advantage
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Availability (including occasional calls outside standard hours)
