Job Summary

Job Title: Sr. z/OS Mainframe Programmer

Location: Austin Tx WFH (Remote)

Interview: WebCam/In-person

Job Description:

Provide expert-level support for z/OS systems programming including installation upgrades performance monitoring troubleshooting and capacity planning.
Administer and support mainframe components such as JES2 OMVS SMS CICS IMS and ISV tools (BlueZone SCLM JOBTRAC) ensuring secure and reliable operations.
Collaborate with IT teams to support mainframe operations integration testing production control and transformation initiatives serving as technical lead when required.
Diagnose and resolve system/software issues conduct root cause analysis and recommend performance tuning disaster recovery and security improvements.
