Job Description
Job Title: Sr. z/OS Mainframe Programmer
Location: Austin Tx WFH (Remote)
Interview: WebCam/In-person
Job Description:
- Provide expert-level support for z/OS systems programming including installation upgrades performance monitoring troubleshooting and capacity planning.
- Administer and support mainframe components such as JES2 OMVS SMS CICS IMS and ISV tools (BlueZone SCLM JOBTRAC) ensuring secure and reliable operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support mainframe operations integration testing production control and transformation initiatives serving as technical lead when required.
- Diagnose and resolve system/software issues conduct root cause analysis and recommend performance tuning disaster recovery and security improvements.
