Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing Territory Leader/Area Manager to oversee operations across Matebeleland Midlands Harare and Manicaland for our client in the FMCG sector.
Responsibilities:
  • Van sales target achievement and KPI deliveries
  • Route mapping planning and optimization.
  • Stock management at Distributor/Customer (Bar/Bottle Store etc.) level
  • Selling assets management
  • Wholesale Sales Target Achievement
  • Follow up on collections for all overdue amounts working with the Debtors team.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and cement lasting mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
  • Developing and implementing territory specific wholesale Strategies
  • Territory key account management
Key Skills:
  • At least 4 years Sales/Key Account Management experience in an FMCG environment (Alcoholic Beverages or Tobacco experience an added advantage)
  • Van sales management background and a clear understanding of the KPIs
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle a pressurized working environment.
  • A clean class 4 Drivers license.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling communication negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Qualifications:
  • A business Degree Sales or Marketing Degree.
