This position will provide technical service expertise for desalting technologies including demulsification desalter operation crude oil management removal technologies. The role involves troubleshooting desalting field issues including demulsifier products chemical injection management of crude oil feed stocks and mechanical operations of desalters. Position involves field visits to audit desalting operations field trial new products and identify opportunities to optimize system performance. The role requires ability to interact with customers (both internal and external) to discuss technical issues write reports and make technical presentations. The role also involves the design and direction of laboratory testing to support desalter troubleshooting
As a Desalting Specialist you will be required to:

To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelors of Science Degree
12 years of experience with oilfield chemicals
7 years of experience with demulsification crude oil management and desalting.
Experience formulating new products for development.
Field experience in refineries.
Presentation and writing skills.
Customer interaction experience.
Laboratory experience is a plus.
15-30% Global travel will be required for this role.
