Grade Level: Elementary Schedule: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Were seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained elementary classroom focused on social-emotional learning and behavioral regulation.
In this position youll provide individualized academic and emotional support to elementary students in a structured nurturing environment. Youll deliver direct instruction in core subjects while also teaching essential coping and emotional regulation strategies. Each student will have a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that youll implement monitor and adjust to promote steady progress and personal growth. Collaboration will be central to your successyoull work closely with families paraprofessionals and related service providers to create consistent meaningful supports across settings.

Requirements
- Experience working with young learners with diverse needs.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
- Having at least a bachelors degree from an accredited university is required.
