Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth who will become productive law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Program Manager 1 to oversee and coordinate administrative functions that support youth rehabilitation and agency operations. This role involves managing program activities supervising staff and ensuring compliance with state policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills a collaborative mindset and a commitment to ethical public service.

Job Duties:
  • Manage daily administrative operations for assigned programs or departments

  • Supervise support staff and ensure efficient workflow and task completion

  • Monitor budgets expenditures and procurement activities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency

  • Prepare reports presentations and documentation for leadership and stakeholders

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support program goals

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency standards

  • Lead or support special projects and initiatives as assigned
