Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Engineers to join our team/department. We are looking for engineers with at least a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Process Automation or Software Engineering) or a solid background in STEM which includes either physics chemistry material science or statistical analysis. We are especially interested in engineers with a masters degree.
Experience:
A candidate should have 2 years of relevant engineering experience in any of the following job roles: An entry level candidate with strong internship or co-op experience may also be addition a candidate should have experience with engineering tools and software used in your area of engineering. This might include CAD systems software development systems etc. Also Knowledge of semiconductor processes and basic mechanical conceptsis a plus.
Potential Job Roles:
- Design & Development: Create IC designs specifications and documentation for a new product. This includes working on silicon architecture layout analog circuit design or logic design
- Testing: Conduct tests simulations and evaluations to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Stay current with industry practices and new technologies and implement improvements to equipment process workflows process documentation and reports showing that production is meeting agreed upon goals.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards for products being manufactured to ensure high reliability and safety.
- Environment & Safety: Stay current with industry practices and ensure that all designs and processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Project Management: Lead a technical team to assist in planning scheduling and overseeing engineering projects and ensure that all milestones and deadlines are achieved. A Project Management certificate is desired.
A candidate for any of the above job roles also needs to have good collaboration skills and be able to work on a cross-functional team including a product Manager designers and other engineers to ensure project goals are met. A candidate also needs to have good documentation skills using current computer software and be skilled at preparing documentation reports and presentations.
Educations:
- Bachelors degree in engineering: (Mechanical Electrical Industrial Manufacturing Computer Science etc.) or a related STEM field (physics chemistry materials science or statistical analysis).
- Masters degree in engineering: (preferred depending on the role).
- Semiconductor process knowledge: Either classwork or experience with semiconductor processes and associated mechanical concepts is a plus!
Skills:
- Good English Skills are required (C1 or C2 certified levels)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using engineering design software and tools.
