Job Summary
The Continental Toyota Accounts Payable department is accepting applications for a full-time Accounts Payable professional. This individual will be responsible for ensuring payments are timely issued and accurate tracking vendor invoices and preparing documentation for Month End and Year End addition to handling accounts payablesthis individual will also serve as Head Cashier and will be responsible for schedulinghiring and training of new staff. This position is the ideal opportunity for a highly organized and efficient individual with an eye for detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how the automotive industry works good communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to perform duties under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
Process accounts payable transactions in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures
Obtain and maintain vendor statements invoices and other documentation for accounts payable transactions
Provide timely payment to suppliers vendors and other customers; issue checks or other payment transaction methods
Reconcile verify and track all accounts payable transactions
Manage vendor accounts and payment processing
Handle incoming vendor inquiries and resolve issues
Maintain financial spreadsheets and records
Analyze accounts payable and general ledger accounts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Other finance and accounting related projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
At least two years of accounts payable experience; automotive industry experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles practices standards laws and regulations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with office manager
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel
CDK knowledge preferred
