About the role
We are seeking a Health Promotion Officer to join our South Australian team. This role will contribute to the design delivery and evaluation of health promotion strategies that support LGBTIQ communities gay and bisexual men men who have sex with men and people living with at risk of or affected by HIV.
Working in a part-time capacity this role will:
Develop deliver and evaluate health promotion projects events workshops and campaigns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups volunteers and partner organisations.
Support innovative and culturally relevant strategies that engage priority populations.
Collect and report on evaluation data to ensure continuous program improvement.
Contribute to the collaborative work of the Health Promotion team.

About you
You will have a tertiary qualification/s in a relevant field or significant experience working with priority populations. You will also bring:
An understanding of LGBTIQ and HIV-affected communities their networks and the issues impacting them.
Experience in planning delivering and evaluating events campaigns or community activities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and with stakeholders.
A willingness to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends.
A South Australian drivers licence is essential and previous experience working directly with LGBTIQ and/or HIV-positive communities will be highly regarded.
