About the area
The Western Australian Centre for Rural Health (WACRH) is administered by the University of Western Australia and is part of a network of University Departments of Rural Health across Australia. WACRH is located in various towns and cities across the Midwest and Pilbara regions of WA with its main office in Geraldton with other offices in Karratha and Carnarvon. This position is located our Geraldton office.
WACRHs aims to collaborate in the promotion and preparation of students for health careers in rural and remote settings provide innovative learning opportunities for students health professionals and the community and conduct rigorous applied research aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of rural and remote communities including Aboriginal communities.
Our vision is to be a leader in creating and optimising rural health knowledge and practice ultimately enhancing the health of rural communities. WACRH is guided by principles of collaboration respect for diversity integrity partnership with vulnerable communities continuous improvement and workforce development.
