Human Resources Generalist:
Responsible for leading Human Resource functions including recruitment and staffing; employee relations; benefits administration; training and development; and compliance with federal state and industry requirements. Collaborates with internal departments and external service providers to develop and achieve company objectives. Maintains databases and records tracks information to validate compliance with labor laws and regulations and reports to external entities to meet compliance requirements.
Position Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of Human Resources databases and records
  • Recruitment and hiring
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Facilitate administration of benefits
  • Employee development and employee relations
  • Assist with employee activities and company-sponsored events.
  • Collaborate with company departments regarding safety programs
  • Participate in resolution of employee issues
  • Assist with updating and maintaining FES policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with federal state and internal requirements and report as needed to internal or external entities
  • Performs quality work accurately and within specified timelines with or without direct supervision
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in human resources
  • Working knowledge of employment law and related government regulations
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including face-to-face and written communications
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
  • Proficient in use of computer and software to include: MS Office; ability to gain proficiency in CostPoint and other relevant Frontier Electronic Systems software systems
  • Ability to understand and apply International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DSS) regulations/restrictions as they pertain to foreign travel and interaction with non-U.S. persons
  • Must be a U.S. Person (United States citizen or have permanent resident status in the United States)
  • Ability to accept supervisory input and deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations
Work Environment:
Normal office environment Expected hours 8:00am - 5:00pm
Essential Physical Functions:
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds)
