Job Summary
Responsibilities
Sentinel is looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst for our customer. The ideal candidate can thrive in a geographically diverse team and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to a variety of technical challenges. This role involves managing small to medium projects working with major suppliers and effectively communicating complex concepts to non-technical users. The ideal candidate is self-motivated skilled at prioritizing tasks and experienced in Agile environments. Strong communication process engineering and technical documentation abilities are key to success in this position. This a full time role reporting onsite at our client location in Cleveland OH.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 35 years of experience in a technical analyst or infrastructure role.
- Strong networking expertise: Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN wireless technologies RADIUS VoIP cabling standards.
- Solid Microsoft background: Active Directory Microsoft 365 Teams.
- Experience with server infrastructure virtualization and hyperconvergence.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting/monitoring tools (Wireshark SolarWinds Splunk).
- Understanding of encryption security protocols and IT governance.
- The candidate must have a car as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a can-do attitude
