Senior Accountant (Corporate)
Location: Arlington VAEmployment Type: Full-Time
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in public accounting or top-tier consulting firms who are looking to transition into a corporate environment with growth potential. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting financial reporting and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities across multiple entities.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting functions including general ledger management and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage month-end close processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports across 35 active entities.
- Support internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer service mindset.
- Collaborate closely with the Controller and other team members to drive process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in full-cycle accounting; real estate and corporate accounting exposure preferred.
- Experience in public accounting or with a Big 4/top-tier firm is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 is preferred.
- Self-starter with a go-getter attitude and strong adaptability.
Compensation:
Salary Target: $90000 - $100000 annually plus discretionary bonus
