Are you a technically skilled professional with a passion for customer service and sustainability Join our dynamic Onboard Service team as a Field Service Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and improving our marine systems across Germany and internationally.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Carry out annual servicing preventive maintenance repairs commissioning and warranty work on marine equipment.
- Perform pre-sales and warranty surveys providing accurate and detailed reporting.
- Deliver training for crew members and fellow technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Contribute to product development by sharing field insights and supporting testing activities.
- Ensure clear professional communication with customers and internal teams at all times.
What Were Looking For
- Vocational education or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or marine systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints schematic drawings and P&IDs.
- Solid IT skills especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal).
- Valid German Driving Licence.
- Physically fit for field-based work with the ability to work independently as well as in teams under pressure.
