Title: Assembler and Test Technician
Pay Rate: $32.40/hour (10% shift differential for 2nd shift)
Employment Type: 1 yr. Contract
Est. End Date: September 21 2026
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday Friday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (Standard hours per week: 40)
Training: on the 1st shift for 6 months and then moving to second shift where there will be a 10% shift differential. 1st shift 6:00am 2:30pm.

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Assembler and Test Technician to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components company. This hands-on role supports the production and repair of advanced aerospace actuators. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
Perform precision assembly and rework of hydraulic pneumatic and electro-mechanical valves actuators and systems.
Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints worksheets and parts lists.
Use mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators calipers and gauges to ensure conformance to specs.
Align and adjust parts using torque tools shims and other fitting techniques.
Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic work on non-conforming units.
Conduct some testing using hydraulic stands AMPS setups and 151 stages as outlined in work procedures.
Complete repairs in line with standard production processes.
Maintain clean work areas and follow safety standards.
Contribute positively to a team-based environment focused on productivity initiative and continuous improvement.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience in assembling or testing mechanical or electromechanical systems.
Ability to interpret blueprints and written assembly instructions.
Skilled in using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Understanding of dimensional tolerances and common fitting practices such as shimming.
Self-directed reliable and detail-oriented.
Must be eligible to work with US export-controlled information.
Willingness to participate in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work with aerospace actuators or similar high-tolerance systems.
Familiarity with hydraulic test stands torque tools or cleanroom procedures.
Background in FAA-regulated or safety-critical manufacturing environments.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
