Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Colonial Heights VA
Full-Time $21$26 per hour In-Clinic
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for our Colonial Heights clinic. This role delivers high-quality ABA services to children in a team-based clinic environment. If youre an experienced and certified RBT youll join a supportive team with consistent hours and opportunities for continued development.
Position Details
- Location: Colonial Heights VA
- Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM6:00 PM
- Compensation: $21$26 per hour
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Certification: Active RBT required
- Setting: In-clinic
What Youll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans
- Support communication social and skill-building goals
- Accurately enter data and session notes in electronic systems
- Participate in team meetings supervision and ongoing professional development
- Contribute to a positive child-centered clinic environment
What Were Looking For
- Active RBT certification (required)
- Prior experience working with children or in ABA
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain active throughout sessions
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Dependability and commitment to full-time hours

Required Skills:
Previous experience as a Behavior Technician ABA Therapist RBT or in a similar role supporting children with autism or developmental needs RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain and maintain certification) Strong skills in data collection documentation and communication Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Dedication to delivering high-quality evidence-based care
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)Associates or Bachelors degree in psychology education special education child development or related field (preferred)
