Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team in Bangalore. This role is responsible for accounting and financial reporting of ATSs India-based operations (Global Advancement Centre and IWK India) ensuring compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements. The role also supports Shared Services with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Professional accounting designation (completed or in progress) or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of general accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing or sales environment.
- Strong skills in financial reporting analysis and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint); exposure to JD Edwards Tungsten BlackLine or OneStream is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Self-motivated detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger balance sheet and income statement schedules.
- Oversee accounts receivable: statements invoices collections and customer queries.
- Handle accounts payable: validate invoices resolve vendor issues reconcile ledgers.
- Support local tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to inventory management and payroll activities.
- Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams for financial alignment.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for special projects.
- Uphold ATSs Code of Business Conduct and health & safety standards.
