Payroll Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in this role youll be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for our Australian employees ensuring compliance with legislation while providing responsive professional payroll support to staff and managers.
This role is part-time working 22 hours per week - we are flexible on what days.
What youll do:
- Process accurate and timely payroll in line with company schedules
- Maintain payroll data for starters leavers salary changes allowances and deductions
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work Awards/EBAs superannuation PAYG and payroll tax obligations
- Reconcile superannuation PAYG and leave balances
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries providing clear and professional advice
- Prepare reports for HR Finance and statutory purposes
- Contribute to payroll system improvements and audits
What youll bring:
- 23 years experience in Australian payroll administration
- Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Fair Work requirements
- Experience with payroll systems such as MicrOpay ADP SAP or Chris21
- High attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Certificate IV in Payroll Administration HR or Accounting (desirable)
