Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team specializing in GEA Separator and Decanter systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the projects application / technical and execution aspects of engineering projects involving the installation commissioning and maintenance of GEA centrifugal separation equipment. This role requires coordination with cross-functional teams clients and suppliers to deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end project pre-contracting through execution completion for GEA Separator and Decanter projects.
- Prepare project documentation including P&IDs layout drawings and specifications.
- Define project scope deliverables timelines and resource requirements.
- Technical Responsibilities
- Perform equipment selection configuration and customization of GEA machinery.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the design and automation teams for system integration.
- Installation & Commissioning
- Supervise installation and commissioning activities on customer sites.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues in real-time.
- Ensure GEA separators and decanters operate according to performance standards.
- Customer Interface
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct training sessions for customer personnel on operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up after commissioning.
- Project Reporting & Documentation
- Monitor and report on project progress budget and risk.
- Maintain accurate project records including as-built drawings operation manuals and commissioning reports.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering Chemical / Process Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in project management application engineering or pre-sales engineering preferably within the process food beverage or pharma industries.
- Strong understanding of separator and decanter technologies and related applications is highly desirable.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Thai (written and verbal).
- Experience working with CRM/ERP systems (e.g. SAP Salesforce) is a plus.
- Knowledge of GEA products and internal tools/processes will be a strong advantage.
