The Storeman is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of goods equipment and supplies within the hatchery. This includes receiving storing and issuing materials as well as ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and store goods and materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records including stock levels receipts and issues.
- Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled stored and secured.
- Issue materials and equipment to authorized personnel ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct regular stock checks to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that inventory needs are met and that stock levels are optimized.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area adhering to health and safety standards.
- Dispose of obsolete or damaged stock in accordance with company procedures.
Key Skills:
- Relevant experience in store management or logistics.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
