We are seeking a highly skilled strategic and results-oriented professional to join our Shangri-La Circle Partnerships team asAssistant Vice President. Partnership who will be responsible for driving commercial growth and enhancing the Shangri-La Circle loyalty program through strategic global partnerships. This role will focus on expanding the programs value proposition increasing member engagement and achieving reward points revenue targets. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking dynamic leader capable of working cross-functionally and cultivating long-term mutually beneficial relationships with key external partners.
What youll be doing
- Lead the identification evaluation and negotiation of strategic partnerships that align with Shangri-La Circles long-term business goals and objectives. Champion market research efforts to uncover new partnership opportunities across various industries.
- Act as the liaison for all partnership-related activities building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with external partners. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions to ensure effective alignment communication and execution of partnership strategies.
- Spearhead high-level negotiations with potential and existing partners defining the scope terms and financial arrangements of partnerships. Draft review and finalize complex partnership agreements ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with Shangri-Las strategic vision.
- Lead the development of member-centric partnership across various lifestyle verticals such as travel retail sports culture and concerts. These partnerships are designed to cater to members preferences thereby enhancing member advocacy loyalty and program stickiness.
- Oversee the development of performance metrics ensuring rigorous tracking and reporting of partnership outcomes. Provide regular insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on partnership performance including key achievements areas for improvement and potential opportunities for growth.
- Lead collaboration efforts between internal teams and external partners ensuring seamless execution of initiatives. Foster strong working relationships with key departments such as Marketing Finance and Operations to ensure successful implementation of partnership programs.
- Stay informed about industry trends market dynamics and competitive threats. Provide thought leadership to senior management offering insights and recommendations to shape strategic decision-making and uncover new partnership opportunities.
What were looking for
- Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing Hospitality Management or a related discipline;
- 10 years of experience in business development partnership management or strategic marketing with a proven track record of success in driving high-value partnerships and business outcomes.
- Experience within the hospitality financial services or large-scale loyalty programs is highly advantageous.
- Strong strategic acumen with a results-driven mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes. Capable of leading high-performing teams and influencing senior leadership decisions.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with the ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize partnership performance.
- Fluent in English Cantonese and Mandarin. Ability to navigate complex negotiations and deliver clear concise and persuasive messaging.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously working independently and proactively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel) and other relevant tools for business analysis and reporting.
