Tutor Doctor has proudly supported North Jersey families for over 11 years with personalized one-on-one tutoring. We focus on building academic skills confidence and independence for every student.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Tutor to work with students in the Dumont area. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting diverse learning needs particularly students with special education needs and twice-exceptional (2e) learners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized tutoring in core subjects (math reading writing etc.) for students.

  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with IEPs learning differences or gifted/2e profiles.

  • Use engaging confidence-building strategies to support academic success.

  • Communicate progress and strategies with parents/guardians.

Qualifications

  • Teaching or tutoring experience with elementary and middle school students.

  • Background in Special Education (SPED) required; experience with 2e learners highly valued.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Patient flexible and passionate about helping students thrive.

  • Reliable transportation to Dumont NJ.
