Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Tutor to work with students in the Dumont area. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting diverse learning needs particularly students with special education needs and twice-exceptional (2e) learners.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized tutoring in core subjects (math reading writing etc.) for students.
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with IEPs learning differences or gifted/2e profiles.
Use engaging confidence-building strategies to support academic success.
Communicate progress and strategies with parents/guardians.
Qualifications
Teaching or tutoring experience with elementary and middle school students.
Background in Special Education (SPED) required; experience with 2e learners highly valued.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Patient flexible and passionate about helping students thrive.
Reliable transportation to Dumont NJ.
