The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Information Technology Business Partners organization is seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Business Partner to join the team in Tukwila WA.
This individual will support the Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) programs which include E-7/Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) proprietary programs KC-46 P-8 VC-25B and other programs which operate in Tukwila WA.
The selected candidate will report to the MS&B Puget Sound Information Technology (IT) Business Partners Senior Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between business IT and other organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met
Collaborate directly with the business to understand their needs and represent the business within IT to engage the right resources explore alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality
Educate the business on IT capabilities and service offerings.
Guide projects from intake planning and funding through implementation validation and business acceptance
Translate customer needs into technical requirements including best fit system architectures for current operations and business growth and support requirements related to hardware and software selection installation and configuration
Communicate timely status of project and program activities including risks and issues to leadership and stakeholders
Investigate innovative and alternate solutions to address current and anticipated business needs
Apply critical thinking ingenuity and problem solving to evaluate potential solutions and provide recommendations
Identify opportunities for automation technology optimization innovation and business simplification
Implement standards and best practices to improve current processes
Demonstrate teamwork listening prioritization and organization skills to work effectively in a diverse cross-functional environment with shifting priorities and requirements
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
3 years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers peers other employees and all levels of leadership
3 years of experience in working with technical implementation in classified and unclassified environments preferably in large-scale digital or business transformations system integration infrastructure & operations cybersecurity networking etc.
3 years of experience working with business domains in engineering program management manufacturing quality supply chain etc.
Experience in security compliance risk management and privacy controls
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Secret Clearance
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years of experience in BDS or Aerospace business functions such as program management engineering finance supply chain manufacturing quality etc.
3 years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools such as Microsoft Project Gantt charts Jira Azure DevOps etc.
3 years of experience in creating and leading executive level presentations
1 years of experience in hardware and software procurement provisioning and management
