We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support site leadership within a dynamic large-scale Manufacturing & Production environment. This role coordinates the needs and objectives of the business segment with those of its employees by planning recommending implementing and administering personnel policies and programs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership: Partners with site leadership to administer personnel policies and programs and assists senior management in organizational development.
Recruitment & Retention: Recruits interviews screens and refers applicants; analyzes turnover and recommends suggestions for improved retention.
Employee Relations: Acts as a liaison between employees and management; conducts investigations and recommends corrective action. Assists Corporate HR in executing policies designed to keep the corporation union free.
Compensation & Compliance: Develops and administers approved wage and salary programs including job evaluation and periodic surveys. Responsible for assuring the business segment is in compliance with laws relative to wages hours and employee benefits.
Onsite Presence: Must interact with all shifts and departments on a regular basis. Maintains a visible presence across all shifts and departments ensuring awareness of floor activities.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience (Required):
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or its equivalent is preferred.
Experience: At least five years of human resources experience is required.
Experience in the Food or specialty ingredient manufacturing industry is a plus.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Manufacturing Comfort: Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing plant setting and walking the production floor interacting with all levels of employees.
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as effective presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to assist in the execution of employee relations policies designed to maintain a union-free environment.
Proven ability to administer corporate programs including the drug program (pre-employment random and post-accident screening).
Certification is preferred.

Compensation & Employment Status:
Base Salary Range: USD $80000 to $100000.
Work Environment: This position is Fully Onsite and requires occasional willingness to travel.
Relocation assistance is possible for the ideal candidate.
