Job Summary

Were seeking a Lead HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor on the Regional Retail Leadership Team. This role blends strategic HR partnership with hands-on leadership ensuring teammate engagement compliance and organizational success across multiple retail locations.

What Youll Do

  • Partner closely with store leaders to deliver proactive HR support aligned with business goals

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations performance management and workforce planning

  • Champion values and culture by fostering an inclusive respectful and engaging environment

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement enterprise-wide initiatives in talent compensation benefits and DEI

  • Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and operational impact

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and company policies

  • Lead change management efforts and initiatives that drive teammate engagement and retention

  • Oversee headcount management and partner with recruitment teams to ensure timely staffing


Qualifications :

Must-Haves

  • 8 years of HR experience with multi-unit location management (50 sites)

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal HR laws and practices

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (day trips occasional overnight)

  • Relational trust-building and consultative approach with all levels of leadership

  • Proven experience in change management and organizational development

Preferred Skills

  • Retail HR experience

  • Bilingual (Spanish)

  • SHRM or HRCI certification

  • Union environment experience

  • Automotive industry background
