You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Training Program Coordinator works collaboratively with the Director and Program Manager to provide oversight leadership and overall coordination for requested products and services (programs projects) related to clinical and system applications and implementations. Coordinates plans organizes tracks evaluates and implements enterprise and site-specific education/training programs for physicians/scientists and allied health. Accountable and responsible for leading multiple project teams and ensuring results and delivery of quality education products and services. Responsible for appropriate scoping of projects to assure project goals timelines and deliverables are clear well-defined and aligned with Mayos and the departments business objectives and strategic plan.
The Training Program Coordinator analyzes qualitative and quantitative data monitors and adjusts all project activities to ensure quality across Mayo and the department. The coordinator facilitates the development of consistent educational strategies and collaborates with project team members clients/customers to understand learner needs design/develop educational plans. Consults or coordinates implementation of the strategic education plan and evaluates its effectiveness. Offers continuous training and education materials Provides oversight and leads numerous department teams to ensure that multiple projects are delivered on time and within budget. Chairs or serves on inter- and intra-departmental projects groups and institutional task forces and committees. Serves as a liaison between other Mayo departments. May serve in a variety of roles in projects teams as needed.
A masters degree in education instructional design or related field is preferred. A bachelors degree preferably in business education management or a related field plus 3 to 5 years of related experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of bachelors degree.
Demonstrated skills in project management delivering results team building and providing a high level of customer service is required. Must be able to work independently take initiative and problem solve/troubleshoot for multiple projects and competing priorities. Ability to cope with varied levels of workload and multiple tasks. Must be adaptable/flexible in a changing environment Must exercise sound judgment; be flexible and adaptable and skilled at leading and facilitating change teams and managing conflict. Effective interpersonal organizational and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of project management planning tools evaluation metrics critical thinking and problem-solving skills is essential. Significant experience and knowledge of curriculum design/development and implementations required. Excellent computer skills including working knowledge and familiarity with educational curriculum systems and Mayo environment strongly preferred.
Experience and/or training in project management team building change management Adult Learning Theory curriculum development and staff-based education program development preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills (written verbal and listening) are required. The ability to multi-task set priorities and delegate appropriately is essential.
