The Clinical Director will lead clinical and administrative functions related to service authorizations ensuring accuracy medical necessity and compliance with payer requirements. This role requires a candidate who can bridge clinical knowledge with operational oversight streamline workflows and support clinicians in maintaining timely and compliant documentation.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented knowledgeable in ABA service models and able to manage policies guidance and departmental improvements in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all authorization processes for ABA clinical services
- Review documentation to ensure medical necessity and payer compliance
- Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to improve workflows
- Provide clinical oversight and support for ABA related documentation
- Develop refine and maintain departmental policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification or strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health insurance authorizations or clinical operations preferred
- Strong understanding of ABA service models and payer requirements
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
