Description

General Summary of Accounts Receivable Specialist

Utilize knowledge of accounting principles and practices to manage job billings contract management and accounts receivable collections.

Essential Functions

  • Complete monthly billing/construction draws utilizing AIA forms adhering to contract requirements and deadlines
  • Learn 3rd party software as needed for submitting billings ie. ProCore Textura GCPay etc.
  • Complete & maintain lien waivers as needed
  • Enter new contracts job cost setup and change orders as projects are awarded.
  • Maintain subcontractor work orders & master subcontracts
  • Manage the companys collection efforts

General Summary of Payroll Specialist

Process payroll and maintain a payroll system regarding hour allocation and pay.

Essential Functions

  • Utilize Paycom to track wages hours worked overtime/deductions/bonuses to process payroll.
  • Maintain accurate set-up information in Paycom so employees can allocate hours appropriately.
  • Provide customer service to Team Members related to Payroll.
  • Submit payroll reports to 3rd party vendors as required i.e. 401K HSA Insurance etc.
  • Complete certified payroll reports as required

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks throughout the day
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with basic filing protocol skill
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comply with all company policies procedures and safety requirements

Education Training and Experience

  • Accounting/Business or Construction/PM 2- or 4-year Degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Four (4) years related accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 CRE preferred
  • Knowledge of Paycom preferred.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize time to meet deadlines. This position is split about 50/50 between AR and Payroll.
