Multiskilled Carpentry Repairs Technician

Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a skilled and adaptable Multiskilled Carpentrty RepairsTechnician to join our Property Services team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in carpentry and plumbing along with additional trade skills who takes pride in delivering high quality maintenance work to our residents.

About the Role
You will carry out day to day repairs and maintenance across our housing portfolio working independently and to a high standard. The role requires expertise in at least three trades with carpentry and plumbing as the primary focus. You will be responsible for completing jobs efficiently ensuring first time fixes wherever possible and maintaining excellent customer care throughout.

If successful youll be provided with a company van and fuel card for business usage work uniform PPE and a table for your daily work schedule. Once youve completed a job youll be expected to update all of the details into the table to ensure we can track and log all works completed.

This is a mobile role covering Buckinghamshire Bedfordshire Hertfordshire Cambridgeshire Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. You will be based out of two key locations:

• Our Head Office in Wooburn Green where youll attend toolbox talks one to one meetings and company briefings

• Our Stores Room and Depot in Chesham which youll visit between site appointments to collect equipment property packs and keys

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing maintenance tasks across multiple trades

• Ensuring all work meets regulatory and safety standards

• Managing documentation and reporting accurately

• Communicating effectively with tenants and colleagues

• Maintaining van stock and using materials responsibly

• Supporting apprentices or junior staff when required

• Participating in the out of hours on call rota

About You: We are looking for someone who is confident working independently and as part of a team. You will have:

• A relevant qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent experience

• Strong skills in carpentry and plumbing with additional trade experience

• A good understanding of building regulations and health and safety requirements

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• A full valid driving licence

• A commitment to delivering outstanding service to our residents.
