Science Technician required from January 2026
Barnet-based school with a strong academic reputation and excellent laboratory facilities.
You will support Biology Chemistry and Physics practical lessons across KS3KS5.
The role includes preparing solutions assembling apparatus maintaining stock and ensuring full compliance with laboratory safety standards.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience working in a laboratory or school science department preferred.
- Understanding of CLEAPSS guidance COSHH and safe handling of chemicals (training can be provided).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks during busy practical schedules.
- Confidence preparing equipment for demonstrations required practicals and A-Level experiments.
- Willingness to support the wider Science team including photocopying resource prep and classroom support.
