A well-established and forward-thinking secondary school in Norwich is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and diligent Art Technician for an immediate start. The Visual Arts department is an essential part of the schools identity and this role offers the opportunity to support both staff and students in creating inspiring and ambitious artwork.
You will be responsible for preparing materials ordering supplies maintaining resources and supporting the daily delivery of Art lessons. The role includes organising tools mixing paints preparing paper and boards assisting with kiln operation (where applicable) maintaining equipment supporting students during practical sessions and helping with GCSE and A-Level coursework logistics.
The Art Technician will also help with exhibition preparation including framing mounting and arranging student work for display around the school. Attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in presentation are essential.
