Job Summary
A progressive and academically focused secondary school in Hackneyis seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join its dynamic Science department from January 2026. Science Technician required from January 2026
Hackney school with a strong STEM reputation and excellent practical science provision.
You will prepare practicals for Biology Chemistry and Physics support teachers during experiments and maintain laboratory spaces.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in laboratory settings or school science support.
- Understanding of CLEAPSS safety standards and chemical handling procedures.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Confidence preparing equipment for required practicals dissections and demonstrations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a busy Science team.
