Job Summary

A thriving secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a highly organised creative and committed Art Technician to join their Visual Arts department immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a passionate team of Art teachers and contribute to a department that plays a central role in the schools culture and identity.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality Art lessons across KS3KS5 ensuring that all materials equipment and learning spaces are prepared efficiently and maintained to a high professional standard. The role involves assisting with the preparation of resources mounting and displaying student work maintaining stock levels supporting students with practical projects and helping to create inspiring classroom environments.

You will work closely with the Head of Art to ensure the smooth running of daily lessons practical workshops GCSE coursework processes and school exhibitions. The ideal applicant will be proactive adaptable and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to support students when required

  • Experience in a school or creative studio environment (preferred not essential)

Salary

Competitive dependent on experience. Term-time only.
