Cencora is seeking a motivated and passionate Community Impact Intern to join our team. This role will be based out of Cencoras Conshohocken PA global headquarters and will support community impact efforts worldwide contributing to purpose-driven initiatives that advance our broader corporate responsibility strategy.

The Community Impact team is an integral part of Cencoras Corporate Responsibility function focusing on driving initiatives that promote healthier customers and communities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain hands-on experience in grantmaking and charitable giving team member focused community impact opportunities including volunteering and matching gifts and work cross-functionally with teams around the world to further Cencoras purpose.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Community Impact projects enhancing operational efficiencies and supporting broader business goals.
• Assist in coordinating philanthropic giving activities including reviewing funding requests responding to inquiries and maintaining the grant management database.
• Support employee engagement efforts including planning and execution of volunteer events such as during the global Month of Impact data participation and maintaining the matching gifts and volunteerism/ board service grant management system.
• Collaborate with internal and external communications teams to support content creation (e.g. gathering copy photos and videos) storytelling and development of creative assets.
• Assist in developing presentations and communications for executive leadership advisory committees and other key internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives such as ESG reporting in-person events and corporate charitable sponsorships.
• Conduct strategic research on industry trends best practices and emerging regulations to support Cencoras Community Impact strategies and initiatives both internally and externally.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment by contributing ideas to support Community Impact objectives.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in nonprofit management communications public affairs or a related field.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future

Minimum Skills:

• Strong interest in community impact work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience in drafting reports and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
• Self-motivated detail-oriented and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated interest in Community Impact and/ or broader Corporate Responsibility through previous internships project experience or extracurricular activities.
• Ability to be in the Conshohocken PA office full-time for the duration of the internship.
