The Opportunity:
Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Werribee. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance support and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
- Community access
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance First Aid (3 yrs) CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
- Drivers License & comprehensive car insurance
