Zantech is looking for a talented IT Subject Matter Expert (Network Operations) - SME to be the Primary resource for administering Microsoft and VMware systems supporting IT infrastructure including 400 government employees and major economic analysis application systems.
Skills Required:
- Microsoft 365 (M365) administration
- VMware configuration and management
- Windows operating systems
- Active Directory and Entra ID
- Network infrastructure management
- System performance monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure stability security and efficiency of Windows and VMware operating systems
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate OS upgrade alternatives
- Draft test plans and implementation plans for system upgrades
- Monitor server utilization performance logs and error logs
- Administer SCCM and maintain enterprise email system
- Test and apply vendor patches and security updates after SCR approval
- Assist in installation of new servers and implementation of new technology
- Manage Office365/Exchange accounts licenses and operations
- Leverage O365 tools to respond to FOIA requests
- Assist in migrating on-premise applications to the cloud
- Provide desktop workstation operations support for 500 end users
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust or higher clearance per contract requirements.
